Separation of Power may be dead

Recently we posted an article on separation of power in a democracy.

A report in the times claims that the situation in the UK prisons was so severe that the prisons could take no more new entries.

The Times: Labour was 24 hours from telling police: no more arrests

So Keir Starmer and co. think they can tell the police to stop arresting people.

Mr. Putin can do this presumably but we would be slating him in every paper as an anti-democrat. An autocrat, possibly a dictator and a fascist in the true sense of the word. Look up fascism. Most that throw the term around don't know what it means.

If the labour party run government do this though it would seem to be no problem. As we pointed out in our previous article there is no real separation of power in the UK when it comes to legislative and executive.

Experts believe however that there has been a separation of power concerning the judiciary. Well they need to think again.

Commanded by Whitehall the Met and other forces were carrying out the animal farm like orders from the central government when it came to arresting old dears for inciting riots.

Now they feel the prison service is overwhelmed so we need to stop arresting criminals.

This to say the least is very Putinesque.

Sir Keir Starmer is or was (he must have forgotten a lot he learned and willingly used) ignoring the very basics of a democratic society.
