The Gunners win over Bournemouth was a stroll. Watching the game there can be no other impression.

One might try to play the four nil result down seeing that two of the goals were penalties but the penalty decisions were justified and the fouls almost certainly did prevent goals which all too often is not the case.

Manager Andoni Iraola said "The game required a certain level we didn't give. We made mistakes. Inside the box we need to be smarter."

Bournemouth were certainly outclassed in this game and it is now high time, with only two draws in the last five games, that the Cherries start getting points. They are one of three teams without a win this season and Burnley with a game in hand might make the statistics look even worse. BBC commentary stated that if the Cherries don't improve in the next three games, things could look bleak for their manager,

.

They held their own in the first quarter of an hour but by half time were two nil down thanks to a header by Saka and the first penalty take by Ødegaard after Max Aarons was brought down by Eddie Nketiah in the box.

Eight minutes after start if the second half referee Michael Salisbury didn't hesitate to award the Gunners their second penalty which Kai Havertz put past Neto.

It wasn't until injury time that Ben White headed home following a free kick taken by Martin Odegaard  concluding the win for Mikel Arteta's side.
